Last Valentine Share-
Morning- Happy Hump Day! I just saw that there will be no school here today due to all the SNOW!!!
Maybe the kids and I can get out later and play. :)
This last Valentine share is of the two little cards I put together for my kids.
This one with the hearts shaped like a heart is for my daughter, and the alligator with the googly eyes is for my son.
This heart took a little bit longer than I wanted it too.. :(
I first took a pencil and traced the outline of a heart, then proceeded to punch a ton of little hearts to fill it in. I dimensionalized some of the top hearts too..Well, I am off to start on yet another project..I will post some pics of that tomorrow to let you know how it's going...

This page was very fast to put together, the most time consuming part was painting those foam sticker letters...Everything else was a breeze..

Hi All, Happy Monday to You! I have another fun Valentine's share for you today, this one is part of a challenge going on over at the Cards blog.
I had a lot of fun putting this card together, which btw I plan on giving to my handsome husband. I used another straight pin, but this time I left it as is...Love is spelled out with Rub-Ons...
I think it turned out nice, and I hope it makes the cute and gets featured on the Cards blog, if it does I will be sure to let you know...
I am off to work at my daughter's school this morning, I hope to be crafting again today.. :)))
I think I will be bad and put laundry off till tomorrow... Geeze and I a rebel or what.. ???

Still Making Valentines-
Hi All, I am pleased to finally say that for the first time ever, I used a straight pin on one of my creations...Yay!
This pin was originally white and I used some nail polish to paint it a Pinkie color to match my project, and at this rate I could really go crazy, as I have a billion different nail polish colors. :)
Also, and you might not be able to tell, but I stamped my image onto a piece of glossy paper with Stazon, after it was dry I sanded it in different directions to give the paper a fun texture look.
Well, I hope this has inspired you to pull out your pins that are laying around, I love the look!

Happy Saturday, I just had a couple of minutes this morning to put a little Valentine together for my favorite niece. :) I am off to the post office in a bit, I hope she gets it in time??
This is one of those clear pillow boxes, I purchased mine here. I ended up lining the back with a piece of patterned paper, then added a ribbon and embellies to finish it off...
Turned out cute I think, and I just know that she will LOVE it!!..

Hi there, Happy Friday Everyone!
Today's share is of a Valentine I made for my daughter's teacher, cute huh?
I am thrilled to report that I have had that animal skin patterned paper for over 5 yrs..Holding onto it for that one special project...and this was exactly it. I only had a small 6x6 scrap of it left, but like every crafter, I couldn't bear to throw away a perfectly good piece of paper.
So with a gleaming smile I crumbled it up good and tore the edges, and Viola' ...a few sewing stitches later and this is what I came up with.. :)))
I have a couple more Valentine projects to share over the next couple of days, so stay tuned.. Have a Great weekend Friends.. :)

Wowzers!, what a hectic day...my baby girl finally went back to school today.. :) She told me when I picked her up that everyone told her that they missed her..She thought that was sweet. Here is my share for today, a bowling page that I put together over the weekend, just now getting it posted however, I had to add the journaling and then I decided to add some bling to my arrows, and Geeze OH peets, those little buggers take a lot of time to stick down.. :( UGH!!!
Love the way it turned out though, and thanks to a very special friend(U know who you are), I didn't have to buy a thing...Yay! I love sharing. :))

Happy Hump Day!! I unfortunately still have my little girl home sick from school again today...Day 3 UGH!!! She is on the up & up though, so I am hopeful that tomorrow she is back on the bus. :))) I have a fun share for you today, one of the layouts put together over the weekend, this is a 12x12 layout of the picture I used of my little ones for our Christmas card this year...They were so fighting in this picture, but I managed to make them laugh, and Yay!! my camera actually got a decent pic for once.. Man I can't wait to get a new camera...I am sure I have mentioned this before...
Anyways, I thought this page turned out super cute :), I added the stitching that I wanted on the page yesterday, as I thought bringing my big heavy sewing machine on my weekend, might have been a bit much.. :)

I was up a lot last night with my poor little girl, who isn't feeling so well..I kept her home from school again today.
We are off to the doctor soon, so hopefully that will fix her up. :)
Have a share today..a really cute card I made over the weekend..I put the finishing touches on it this morning, by running it through the sewing machine...Cute huh? and the flower is from a bouquet that I bought from Joanne Fabrics for 50% off..So cheap and it was loaded with flowers.. :)
Well, I think I may make this my 1st Etsy item??? Haven't decided yet, but if I do, I will be sure to post a link to let you know..

Morning Everyone-
Well, I'm back, and as I had hoped, I got a lot accomplished. :)))
Wow- What a great time we had, and it is so much fun to just have tons of girl time. I will have lots of shares for you this week, and since I have some scrapbook pages that still need some journaling I thought I would start off with a card I made.
This card is a 3 x 6 card and I decided to leave it without a sentiment on the outside. I never know if I am going to be in a pinch looking for a specific card, so that is why I left it blank, I can always fill it in later.
I have added a link here (thanks Dawn), where you can watch a video tutorial to see how the vintage flower was made on the front if you like. It is super easy :)))

Well, I know this may not look like much, but "Holy Cow", I have everything packed but the kitchen sink..UGH!!! I just hope I didn't forget anything. :)))

Happy Sunday Everyone!!! I spent a lot of yesterday still packing, and I suppose you are wondering why it is taking me so long, but I have to take a break from it or else I feel crazy overwhelmed and feel like I might forget something.. UGH!!!!! Trust me, I'm not happy about this fact. :(
I did however finish the book "Exact Revenge" that I have been reading..Very good :))
I am getting a much needed Pedi today and then hopefully going to the coffee bar to pick up some more coffee...Ran out yesterday. :(

Surprise!-
Yes, I was in a crafty mood this morning, so even though my scrap space is in complete disarray, I realized that I needed a birthday card for a very dear friend, and since I have been dying to use my new Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die, I thought, what the heck...
I put this little cutie together in no time flat and I just love the color combination.. :)
btw-I sponged over and along the edges of the yellow butterfly to make the embossing stand out a bit more..

Wow, where have I been?
Well, truth be told, I have been getting ready for a Scrappin' Weekend I have coming up next week..And yes, I did say next week. Why oh why, do I have so much stuff...Obviously I can't bring everything, so I have been taking the time to scope out layouts that I like and put the papers and embellies together that I think I will need???? Let's hope it all works out, sometimes I don't feel very mobile. I am also, hoping to put a few cards together for my stash...I have lots of bdays and things coming up..I know there will never come a time when I am all caught up, and thank goodness for that, I don't think I will ever not have something to do.
With that being said, I probably won't have a post now till I am back from the weekend Feb 1st..., but I will however have lots and lots to share...
And who knows, maybe I will sneak in a share or two before then..

TGIF!!! Yay- Can't believe Friday is finally here...We have a pretty busy weekend planned, although I still hope to fit some crafting in there too at some point. :)
Am planning a trip to Ikea on Sunday and then off to the Novi-Archiver's. I absolutely love that store.
I have a fun share today with pictures from when my daughter modeled some clothes for a local children's boutique..She is a natural.. :)
Had a fun time breaking out my chalks again and I made the film strip with my bind-it-all.. :)

Like my Spirit Wear??-
I put these cute little hair clips together today for my daughter to wear for school spirit. I purchased the felt from my local craft store and then ran it through my BIG Shot with the Stars die. Added the button to the top and then hot glued it to a hair clip. Aren't they cute..Well, she loves them anyway, and that's all that matters..
I have been making all kinds of hair accessories to match a bunch of my daughter's outfit.
She says, they make her look like a "Rockstar" :)))

Just finished this month's book club pick..and well I have to say it was Fantastic!!!!
I am sorry to say that this is just one of the reasons why I have been a BAD blogger...so sorry for that :( I also am in the middle of knitting a purple little scarf for my daughter...Just like she requested xoxo
I also, believe it or not, have been doing a bunch of spring cleaning...man does that feel GOOD!!!
Well, this weekend should be nice and low key, suppose to have some more house guests though, so not sure how much crafting I will get done :(

Sorry everyone that I have been MIA for the past week, but we have had a ton going on here..
Where do I start...We had house guests come and stay for a few days, then we had some friends over to help us ring in the "New Year", Happy New Year to you all-btw :)

After that I spent Jan. 2nd disassembling Christmas and would you believe it, I got some sort of stomach flu that night...and well let's just say after what turned out to be a very long holiday break..ended with my Birthday yesterday...Nice & Quiet :)))

I would like to Thank my husband for, well I will just sum it up by saying being the "BEST HUSBAND" and girl could ever ask for.. xoxo
and thank you to all of my friends & family who sent me lots of "Birthday Wishes"
I plan on getting back into the swing of things right away, so check back soon for some shares. :)

Absolute Bliss-
This page turned out so nice, I am really happy with it..I added a Christmas Wrapping bow in place of a poinsettia that I wanted to add, but I could not find one in my entire space..
Very hard to believe I know?? I also, glittered my thickers letters (bliss) and I love the way those turned out, can't wait to do that again on another page.. Well, I have to run..I have a full list of things to do today and some how I need to fit laundry in there somewhere.. UGH!!!!!

Perfect day for Scrappin-
Hi All- Hope you survived your holidays.. I had a really nice day yesterday thanks to all of my friends & family. :) We decided to just have a nice quiet day today at home, so I of course spent my quiet time Scrappin. As I discovered last week, it has been forever & a day since I had a chance to scrapbook..So I thought I would get back into the swing of things by making our babysitter this fun layout as part of her Christmas gift. I took this picture before I framed it to omit the glare from the glass. I think it turned out so nice & I just know that she is going to LOVE it. We are spending Christmas with our neighbors tomorrow-Yay! Can't wait.. Well, here is just one of many to come.. Keep checking back.. :)

Happy Monday! I hope if you are at work today that you are not one of the unlucky ones that has to travel in those horrid snow storms. There has been a dusting of snow here all day, but nothing to really throw a stick at...
Christmas is almost here, and I put together what I hope to be my very last Christmas card for the season...This is a cute 3x6 card of a "Santa Belly"- I was able to use my button punch and the gold belt buckle is -You guessed it "Wrapping Paper", I know you aren't the least bit surprised that I am still re purposing scraps..
This card was super simple, so I hope you give it a try...

I have a cute little post today to share for you, this is one of those clear paint cans...I made the little one on the right at Archiver's it was their FREE make n take, I bought the medium size one to hold candy for my grandpa for Christmas. I decorated it with DSP and Ho Ho Ho all the way around..Lastly I added a ribbon and tied a string of bells to the center..

Just added a embossed candy cane tag with my to & from on the back.

Haven't posted in a couple of days...things have been crazy busy here and I am just trying to put the finishing touches on all of my holiday gifts.. Sorry to say that I tried to have a nice night out with my Girlie Girls tonight and what do I come back to after a very nice dinner...
My Car was towed.. :(((
So much for having some Christmas Spirit...I am not a happy Camper right now...I sure hope that I can wind down enough to get some sleep tonight... UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely the last thing I needed tonight was to pay a $160.00 towing bill right before Christmas..

Well, I had a Crazy Busy weekend in Chicago celebrating our Christmas' with all of our Friends & Family...Now it's time to just sit back and RELAX!! I have a few more fun Wrapping Paper gift tags to share with you this morning, and really this should be just about all of my xmas shares, as I am all wrapped and put under the tree. :)
I hope you are all staying warm & toasty.. I have a pretty busy day planned so I hope to get some crafting done later, but I may choose to take a nap instead ;))))

Wrapping Up with Gift Tags-
Morning Bloggers, TGIF!!! I have a fun share today, it has everything to do with Coordination, and how much I love things that go together.. :) wink wink..just me being CRAZY!!!
In the photos that I uploaded here, I used this very beautiful sparkly spotted Christmas paper, and I used that same paper in some way to make each of these gift tags..As a tip, if you decide to do this, the circle punch works a lot better with the wrapping paper if you back it up on cardstock first. In the pictures you can see that you can even place rub ons to the paper with ease. Yay!!
P.S. Now I know these aren't the most wonderful tags that you have ever seen, but I did want to show that you can just use your scraps and make an easy tag, even with just this little bit that I did, the recipient of these presents is going to know that I took the time to add just that little bit extra..
