Hi there-
Wow: So sorry for the blog craziness last week, we had our Gateway CRASH, and we were left with the decision of either getting another one, or taking the plunge into the Mac world...?

Needless to say, we have joined the very popular community of Mac users...and so far I am very pleased about our decision...

One thing that was a little bit of a pain, was converting all those PC files over-that was a bit tiring to say the least, but now that it's done...We are back in business...

Anyways, I will dive right into to today's post, I have two layouts to share and the 1st is an 8 1/2 x 11 page that I did for my son's preschool, they make scrapbooks for each of the kiddies for the end of the year...it is a very cute project.. :)
I am limited with these pages to card stock & stickers, which gives me the perfect opportunity to use my Cameo...I cut the waves and the palm tree from images I found at the Studio store..
After adding a few sea shell stickers, the title & the date this page was complete.. Super fast!!
note: to add texture to most of my die cuts I used embossing folders or plates, which I did on the coconuts in this layout.
This 2nd layout is 12 x 12, and it's what I came up with for my little girls bday last year. We decided not to have a party and just spend the day doing all the things she loves ( not sure what would have been cheaper honestly, but it was her day..)

I used an image from a Kerri Bradford kit ( All about you) for the title and the rest of the layout, was put together with scraps I had. I took the tip that Nichol uses and cut the title 2x to give it more dimension, and I always love the end result. I cut the title also with white card stock and used my glimmer mists to add the color ( which is why it looks like speckles).. Well, I would love to hear your thoughts? Hope you have a great week...See you soon, I have lots more to share :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!!-
Hi there Everyone, popping in today(instead of tomorrow) for my weekly blog post...I meant to post this card over the weekend because this top card uses a Kerri Bradford die cut that she had on sale over the weekend at her online store... Sorry about that.
Needless to say this 1st card was made with a digital die cut from the KBS "All about You" kit and I think it turned out so cute. My hubby was the recipient and he loved it!
This card is a 3x6 size and after I cut the die the size I wanted I went ahead and cut a background piece of SU Marina Mist, and added it to the Sahara Sand base.
The two strips on the bottom of the card are just M.Stewart paper tape..(from her xmas collection, believe it or not).
I used my gold & red smooch spritz on my pieces to give them shimmer, added a few dimensionals & twine and that was it.
So simple..
And for my kiddies, I made those cute little book marks that I also cut with my Cameo.
The heart I used for the "O" in love was an old retired SU stamp that I embossed n cut out.
Super cute, right?
Well as I said earlier, I won't be posting tomorrow because I have a huge list of other things to do
to get ready for my scrap weekend that I am hosting this weekend...So excited!!
I think I am going to set up tables later today, and then I have to get my butt in gear and get all my pictures that I printed organized and ready to scrap....
Have a Great Week & Have a Great Valentine's day!!!
Be back soon!

Hello there-
As always, I hope your week is going well.. :) Today's share is of my Valentine's Day Teacher gifts...I have made 7 of these, all for my children's various teachers...From Preschool, Piano to Swimming... all are going to be recipients of this little cutie..
To start with I purchased a bunch of these clear pillow boxes off eBay a while back, and I am trying to use them whenever possible; I filled each one with Hershey's Chocolate hearts,
Yummy (xo)
I then wrapped some Valentine themed patterned paper & a 1 1/2 ribbon around the box.
To decorate the front I used some mini brown paper bags that measure 2 1/2 x 4 and this is where I tucked away the valentine from my children. I used my glimmer mist to color a heart dollie & the old book print flower.
The tag was made with the Stampin' Up Sizzix label sizzlit and the sentiment was from Stampin' Up! as well...
The added pink flower and black button, were just hanging out in my stash.
Well, I just know that the teacher's will love these, and I hope you do to...
I'm signing off for now, but stay tuned, I may have a few more posts up my sleeve before next week..
Have a Great Night!!!

Hello friends..-
Happy Wednesday Greetings- Hope your week is going well so far? I have another share today, and it's of a brown bag that I altered and it turned out so cute..
I started with a brown bag from my stash, and I added a cute band of wrapping paper around the middle, and to finish it off I made a gift tag with matching paper and elements. The little boys name starts with a "C" and he is going to be "5", which I hope was easy to figure out.. :)
I used my Cameo to cut a Big C and the numbers are stickers just added to punched out circles.
Pretty cute, right?
So easy :)
Alright, well I am off to dream land...I hope, so have a good week and I will check back in next Wednesday..
I am pretty excited because I am hosting a Scrap weekend here at my house in a few weeks...and I can't wait to get CRAFTY with my friends..
Thanks for stopping in
Melissa
