Hello Bloggers-
Here again for another Wednesday post...Today's share is of my hubby's bday that was in December..We had a really great day!
This layout was super fun to create and the stars make this page just pop with excitement.
I used my Cameo to cut the Biggest stars and my Sizzix die to cut the rest, the jagged edge pattern paper was cut by hand from a template I traced...
Now I know I could have die cut this with my Silhouette, but thought I would just hand cut it quick and save some $$$
I hope you enjoy today's layout, it was super quick to put together and really didn't take a ton of supplies...

Hi there Everyone-
Happy Wednesday, time again for another share...
Today's share is of a 12x12 layout of my kiddies at Halloween this past year, they had matching costumes, and were just so cute...Love them!!

This page was made with all kinds of elements that I had on hand in my stash.. The haunted house was a recollections stamp that I embossed with black, the felt border sticker was a find from the Novi Mega Meet, years ago.. I also used an old Basic Grey paperclip, Making memories stickers, and a Martha Stewart rub on (Trick or Treat)....I love using up stuff that has been in my stash forever.. :)
I did use my Cameo to cut the bat and the title, another one of my LOVES for sure.. :)
This page came together super quick and it is so cute....Would love to hear your thoughts...

Hello Everyone-
How are You? Hopefully you are having a good week so far, I have been waiting to post this page for weeks now, I just LOVE it...One of my favs for sure..
This is my very 1st Fall/Leaves page that I've done, and I just think it turned out great!! I was able to use up a few old pieces of pp that have been sitting around, and really- this page used a ton of scraps up for me.
I used my Cameo to cut the title "fall" and the scalloped square, and I used up one of the metal flowers that I have been wanting to use, but just didn't have the perfect page for...
This was it..and the leaves under the flower were just pulled from floral sticks from my local craft store.
I hope you like it...I have Halloween & a few birthdays to post next, so stay turned...Join as a follower and be updated when I post new stuff...

Happy Hump Day!!! Hope all of you are settling back into your routines after the holidays :)
We have started back at school and are getting back into the swing of things here for sure.. Yay for that, because, UGH!! it was getting a little crazy around here..
So as promised I am starting my new year off right, by remembering to do my Wednesday post.. :)
Today's share if of a 12x12 layout, that I made with some of our annual pumpkin happenings.. I used my Cameo to cut the title & just keep the rest of the layout really simple..
I figured with it being so photo heavy, less was certainly the best way to go.
I do however want to add that I took a tip from Nichol Magouirk add cut my "Traditions" title twice: this really does help the word pop, it's an added step-but totally worth it I think...Well, I would love to hear your thoughts... I hope you like, and I will see you next week..

Happy 2012 Blogger friends...
I'm making a couple of changes here on the blog..
With how crazy busy things are, I have decided that I am going to make a post every Wednesday, and that will be a little less stressful for me, since sorry to say this isn't my Job...I wish I had all the time in the world to craft(although, then I would probably get bored)...I like having to steal time here and there to do some things..
So with that said, I have started off my New Year by posting a pic of my hubby & I, and I will be back with a layout on Wednesday.. :) I would also like to share my one little word for 2012.....
I have chosen "Determination" & I am determined to keep to my goals and hopefully if I am lucky they won't over whelm me..

Happy Friday, I am stopping in here today, for what will be my last post of 2011...Looking forward to all that the New Year holds.. :)
Today's share is a card I made with a Kerri Bradford freebie..and I just love it!!! What I have realized in all my card making, is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Cameo...I am having a blast playing with all the different elements..
I also, need to ask Santa for some of those Studio Calico Mister Huey Mists, I currently don't have no where near as many spray colors as I would like.. :(
And as an EXTRA, I am adding a silly pic of my kiddies goofing around with the Santa Hats... LOVE these moments, can't wait to get this photo scrapped...

So Sorry-
Hello & sorry for my absence yesterday, I know I was suppose to be back with this post...Busy day- and on a whim a girlfriend came over to scrap, gotta love the holidays...
We hadn't scrapped together in a LONG time, so it was some much needed girl time together, and I managed to get 1 1/2 layouts done.. :)
OK- Now onto the cards for today..
The 1st card was made with a retired Stampin' Up! snowman builder set..I have been seeing so many snowman building cards out there lately, I couldn't wait to make one of my own.. LOVE IT!!
The 2nd card was made using scraps of old SU dsp and some misc. buttons.. Now who couldn't whip up a bunch of these little beauties super quick.. ??
Well, hopefully you liked my shares for today, I will be back with one more tomorrow and them I am off till the New Year>... Yay!!!
Oh and before I forget the sentiments were both from an Ali Edwards Christmas stamp that I bought at Archiver's a while ago..

Popping in quick with two more shares..
This tree card was a Kerri Bradford Freebie & the other was used with Martha Stewart Masking tape.. Love that stuff, the only paper layer on this card is the green scallop piece and the other with the sentiment... So fun- can't wait to work with that stuff some more.. :)
Seriously... what could be quicker than putting a piece of masking tape on your project...No cutting required. :)

Greetings blogger friends...
Sorry for my absence last week... Eek, what a busy time .. :(
Anyways, I thought over the course of the next couple of days I would share some Christmas cards that I made for my hubby's work, they turned out super cute and were very quick easy...Just saying- there is still time for those of you who think that they couldn't possibly fit one more thing in this holiday.. :)
The card with the trees was made using my papertrey ink die and a cuttlebug folder for the snow...Super cute!!
And the other card was made by cutting letters with my Silhouette and then glitzing them up, the snowflake was a Kerri Bradford Freebie.. :)
and in the center of that I added one of my super small Stampin' Up! jingle bells.. Love it!!
I will have more to share tomorrow, but for now I am off to get a few other things done.. Stay tuned & have a Great Monday!!!

Hello there-
Hopefully all of you are just about done with all of your Christmas shopping and are putting the finishing touches on all of the last minute Christmas details in your life.
I can proudly say that I have been finished up for about a week now, and am just sitting back and enjoying myself :)
I thought I would stop in today and share some of the pages that I recently created for my son's schools scrapbook..
The 1st is from the Thanksgiving Feast
the 2nd is from the field trip to the Dairy Farm, with a close-up of the Cow I made from my SU punches(Large Oval & Owl) .. Turned out so cute.. My son LOVED it!!
And lastly, the Halloween layout...all these are 8 1/2 x 11 and vertical...
I was able to use my Silhouette to cut a few things...and I just love how cute they turned out..
Well, I do have a few Christmas things to share, so I will be back in a few..

Sorry I missed Friday's post...Time just got away from me..
I am stopping in today to post my last of the back to school layouts, and I'm not sure yet if I will share the school stuff that I have been doing in between these layouts, or dive right into Christmas..?
Guess I will have to wait and see how I feel at my next entry..
I have several other things that I am working on, so who knows???
Today's share is a 12x12 page that went together so fast-Love when that happens.. :)
Very 1st time I have used corrugated cardboard on a project, and I think it turned out super cute.

Hopefully you all had a great Thanksgiving, I did a ton of Black Friday shopping and I did a bit of Cyber Monday shopping today too..
I am so close to being DONE!!! yay-
I will finish early and be able to just sit back and enjoy the holiday.. :)
So onto today's post, this is the 2011 back to school layout I did for my daughter, I think it turned out great..I saw a layout similar to this in an idea book, and I just loved it..So here is my take.
Used my new Cameo to cut the big 9x9 red circle, the letters and the stars, love that machine so much :)

I have another layout share today, this is off a page that I made for the front of each of my kiddies school books. I have a separate book for them with layouts of all of their 1st days of school, and then events or happenings that happened that year..I think that this book is really going to be fun to look back on. :)-
This layout was inspired by a layout that I saw on Kristina Werners blog, she made it for Studio Calico, you can check it out here.
Anyways, I loved her design and I had been looking for a layout that had NO pictures, which is really hard to do..
So would love to hear your thoughts..

Hi friends..here today with a layout share...My very 1st letter grouping cut with my new Cameo..This one here is courtesy of Kerri Bradford, this image is one of her downloadable Freebies.. Yay!!! love that!
I had so much fun putting this layout together, and I was able to recycle some of the file folder scraps that I kept from my organizer project. The red tab layer is an scrap..

Happy Monday~ I think?? ugh, it's been a heck of a day so far :(
I have a share today of a little box I made with my Sizzix envelope box die, sorry to say that this die has been discontinued, but you can find it on clearance here. I decorated it with templates from my silhouette studio and I think it turned out so cute.
I added a gift card to the inside, and a bowling ball button to the front.. LOVE it!!! made the perfect gift..

Hello there Bloggers, I hope you all had a great week, I was super busy...come to think of it, when am I not having a crazy week??? Ugh!
I have a very easy gift idea share today, and I am thinking of making mine for the teachers...I put all four of these cards together in about 15 minutes..No Joke- So this project is very doable.. :)
I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up for my card front, but really any embossing folder you like would work. I used WHITE CORE card stock, which I purchased at my local craft store, and a sanding block... Super easy :)
Adding the twine and the bottom just finished it off..
Super Quick!!.
I like making the cards sentiment free to use for any occasion, but just think of the possibilities. :)
Doing this same idea for your Christmas cards...??

I hope you all had a Great Weekend!!?
I had the joy of celebrating my baby girl's 7th birthday, and we had such a great time.
I thought I would share the card I made her, I LOVE it when colors or papers match (weird, I know??), so I took the wrapping paper from her gift and used a few scraps to glue to some scraps of cardstock, then cut out my flags...so easy..
and the clouds were cut with my papertrey ink die...Pretty cute, right? :)
I thought I would also share that I have be honored with being a cover girl for the "Michigan Scrapbooker Magazine", and I couldn't be happier.. You can view the latest layout to the left..Winter 2011

Happy November, thought I would pop in today to share what I was working on all weekend... :)
I saw a neat little Youtube video about making notebooks with manilla folders, and I knew that I wanted to have some sort of Holiday organizer this year... And after a few modifications, It was done... :)
So cute; I've already given one away as a gift. These were a little time consuming but so worth it, and the pad of paper just changes out once it's empty, love it!! I made this first one for my son, he loves office supplies.. very funny :)
These last two were made for Christmas, and I totally love that I have been able to use up paper packs that have been sitting in my stash forever.. Both from Stampin' Up! a long time ago.....

Thought I would pop in today and share a really great craft fall decoration; all thanks to Martha Stewart; love her :)
I was at Archiver's a few weeks back and they were celebrating "All Things Martha", and giving away free instruction sheets for this pumpkin project. Well, I couldn't wait to make this little beauty, and after a lot of crafty work... this adorable little pumpkin was born... So cute!!!
Now I wouldn't say that this project was the easiest decoration I ever made?? :(
There was definitely a lot of work & time involved, but the end result is gorgeous- don't you think??

I'm finally back... UGH!!! So sorry for my absence...
I promised you that I would post the pics from my Vegas Mini Album...and here they are..
This isn't all of them, but quite a few :)
The cover was done with glitter card stock, playing cards and fake poker chips..
I used a map of Nevada, mostly vegas to fill in where I thought I wanted patterned paper, I thought the map paper was more fun. :)

I added our plane tickets and drink cards and 4x6 photo sleeves for more interest... I think this book turned out AWESOME!!!... Just how I hoped..
Sorry it took me so long, I was waiting for ebay orders (Owires for the Zutter) and Shutterfly to mail me photos... UGH- I don't like waiting on people.. Anyways, I would love to hear your thoughts..

Hello there-
Hope your weekend is going well, I am popping in today because I completely forgot to do my Friday post..??? Yikes, :)
I have 2 fun projects to share:
1st are these cute hair pretties I made for my daughter's spirit day, so easy I watched this video on You Tube for the How To..
2nd is a sneak peek of the Vegas mini album that I am putting together...
I don't think I will share the whole album, but certainly a few pages as I complete them...
The cover was crazy hard to make, because I traced and cut everything by hand, one layer at a time.. BLAH!!!
I love the end result, but OMG what a chore that turned out to be...
I am onto the fun part of adding and decorating the inside pages... Having so much fun too..
I am cracking myself up remembering all the of the fun times on that crazy vacation.. :)
So far I have the letters cut out of glitter card stock, I cut a window in the cover for dimension, I added a couple of playing cards, which I have used throughout the book here and there, and last were the 2 fake Vegas chips I hot glued to the corner of the photo... Super cute don't you think??

Ugh... the time is just getting away from me.. geeze louise..
I know I said that I would be back on Monday, but like I said...times just flying by. :(
I do have a fun post today- and I did want to say that whenever I plan on hand delivering a card (usually with a gift), I always feel free to get CRAZY with adding dimension to my project.
That being said, I love that Pom Pom ribbon that I added to the bottom half of this bday card...Just finishes the card just right...
The sentiment was embossed on white card stock that I then sponged my SU colors onto...So quick and So cute..
Well, I hope you enjoy this post today, I am working on some crafty projects for spirit week to celebrate Homecoming.. So fun!!

A few Gift tags today-
Hi there friends...Happy Friday!!
Stopping in today to share a couple of really cute tags I made this week.
I have had a crazy busy week, so sorry to say...I missed my Monday post.. :(
I did however get a ton of stuff checked off my to do list..and man I am on a roll..Woot Woot!!
So let's get to the craftiness-Shall We ??
This 1st tag was simply embossed with white and them I paper pieced the little robot guy on the bottom..
No card's complete without those super cute googly eyes, which you know I just totally LOVE!!
The 2nd tag, was me just using up some leftover stickers that I had from a baseball page..The jersey, hat & baseball were what I had left and I immediately knew that I would use these up on a gift tag. I also love that I remembered to use the baseball for the "O" in Robert.. Yay!
Well, I do have more to share- So I will be back Monday for more.. and hopefully I will get even more done this weekend...

Vegas Baby!!-
Hello there, Happy Friday- And I couldn't be more serious when I say "TGIF!!", this week has been a really long week.. :(
I woke up for some strange reason at the crack of dawn this morning..So aside from getting my coffee started, I thought..Why not post my crazy vacation layout. :)
I am super happy with how this page turned out, It hardly has any embellishments, but I didn't want to take away to much from the photos..
Two photo heavy layouts in a row for me..
I am on to try and create a mini book from this trip...Pulling out my trusty Zutter machine..
So we will see what I can come up with :))
A couple of things that I did on this page:
1st, use an old deck of playing cards to make my own accents, 2nd, I had to make scanned copies of the actual $$ chips that I used on this page, because using the originals added way to much dimension & 3rd, I used my VERY 1st laser die cute..I happened to pick this one up in Novi at the mega meet, I love it..Makes me really really want to invest in the Silhouette... :)

Today's share is of a layout from our road trip out East last month...So much fun :)
I posted a few weeks back some really great loot that I picked up at Archiver's, and so far here is what I have done with it..
This page was so much fun to put together, and to date is my biggest photo page ever!! 21 to be exact, and I had a hard time picking just those, but whenever I have those "I want to Scrap EVERY picture" moments, I simply remember, that it's not possible (at least not for me).
So I am here with 21 of pictures that made the cut, and I think that they pretty much sum up the trip.. :)

Happy Labor Day Everyone!!-
Stopping in today to wish you all a Happy Monday and to share some craftiness, of course. :)
This top picture is of a cute little gift tag, so easy.
The card on the bottom is kind of a cased sketch from the current SU catalog..I saw a very similar card in the kiddie section and put my one little twist on it.. Love it!!!
I would also like to point out that itty bitty library clip that I used on the side..So fun, I can't wait to use a bunch more on future projects.. :)
That robot image is from a Recollections set that I picked up at Michael's forever ago, although I know that they still carry it, as I was just there yesterday using my 50% off coupon.. :)
Picked myself up a new Halloween stamp set, Love it- Can't wait to start putting Spooky projects together.
Also- On a not so crafty note- I want to send "Congratulations" out to my little princess for learning how to accomplish 2 huge things this week..First was, she learned how to tie her shoes on Tuesday and Today, she learned how to ride her bike with NO training wheels... Yippee Yahoo!!! So happy for her.. :) xo Can't wait to scrap those memories. See you Friday friends.. :)

Stopping in quick to post a card that I made last weekend for a little birthday girl, and I know that she will LOVE it!!
I used a very old SU stamp set given to me as a FREEBIE, and the Gummy Bears..are a win win :)
I fussy cut out some of the bears for dimension, and added the sentiment from my computer.
The celery green was embossed with a folder, and
that's about it, nothing fancy, but super cute.. :)
This color combination was used in a very old SU catalog and I just loved it!!
Screams PARTY to me.. :)

The family and I went to see the Smurfs movie (cute, btw) and I was able to do some crafting this weekend..
Today's card I made for a special little boy I know celebrating a birthday, & I hope he LOVES this card as much as I do :)
I embossed those stars and the planet with white on black for the "Chalkboard" technique..Turned out looking like space and the rest is was just paper piecing...

Hello there-
So HAPPY to be back...the family & I went on a MONSTER 11 day road trip out to the east coast, and just returned home last night..
I am happy to be back, unpacked and back into the swing of things..
I am posting a layout today that I made a few weeks ago when I had some girlfriends over to scrap.. :)

This layout is from Father's day!, it is the 1st time that I made a Father's day layout and didn't use FD as the title..I like this change, and hope to do more of it in the future..

Where have I been???-
Sorry for being MIA lately, I have been enjoying the summer days with my kiddies and haven't had any alone time to craft :(
I finally had some FREE time this weekend, and I invited some girl friends over to scrap...What fun we had :)
This is one of the layouts that I finished on Friday night, and I just love the way this layout turned out.
The hearts on the background paper I made with my glimmer mist spritz spray...So cute :)
I did some sewing around the outside edge of the photo to frame it out, and the rest was just scraps that I added to the left side..Thanks for stopping in today..I have more to share so check back later in the week

Viva Las Vegas-
Greetings Bloggers, I just returned home from one of the best vacations, EVER!!! We had a Super time with our BFF's, living it up on the town. We even had a few celeb sightings..David Spade stand up, and in the lobby bumped into Adhir Kalyan AKA "Timmy" from the show "Rules of Engagement"..
You name it, we did it..Zip line and strip clubs included.. Had an amazing time, can't wait to do our family vacation, coming up here soon.. I hope to do some crafting this weekend, but UGH! it's summer time, and my Free mommy moments are few and far between.

Happy Friday!!- Now I know that I say this almost every Friday, but let's face it, for me it really is the best day of the week. For me it means that my hubby will be home for 2 days to help pick up the slack around the house with the kiddies.. So HAPPY Friday!! to me..especially :)
I have a share today that I just literally finished up, and I just love it!!
I was going for kind of a framed look, and Wowzers- I am patting myself on the back..So cute!

Hello there-
Happy Friday!! Here today posting a couple of things that my sweet daughter and I put together the other day..
The 1st post is of a stamp that my daughter colored and I cut out, we are making for a special someone's bday, so I turned it into a gift tag.. Love it!
And while the stamp was out I decided to make a bookmark, and I think it turned out great!..
I used watercolor paper and my aqua painter to color the image, then de-stressed it with some SU ink and then splashed it with water.
As a final touch I used my white gel pen on the centers of the flowers and then went along the flowers veins with my glitter pen..

This is an Easter 12 x 12 layout that I put together when I had some girls here to scrap a few weeks ago. I didn't get a ton done, but that just leaves me more to do next time. :)

I had one of my layouts published in a book, my very 1st book publication..
I am Super Duper EXCITED!!!!
I set my camera up and took a bunch of fun photos of myself.. :)

Hello there-
How are you? I have a fun post to share today- and I also would like to say that I had an OH so Amazing weekend.. My sis and her family came in from Chicago to spend time here in Michigan, and it was much needed to say the least.
~Counting the days till our PA vacation and we are together sharing some good times.. :)
Back to today's post, My hubby and I recently celebrated our 10 yr. and it was the most wonderful day. I typically scrap our anniversary every year, but this is the 1st time that I added our wedding photo to the layout...
I also added my "Ever So Super" gift-
diamond earrings.. :)
Banners & pennants are everywhere you look these days, and since it has been forever and a day since I used one, I thought Yippee!!! what better time...
Not sure if you can see it or not, but I did add stitching to the outside areas..
I am in Love with this layout... LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

I had a super scrappy weekend and I will be sharing my projects over the next several weeks, So many cute layouts and cards made..
I thought I would start with this grad card, it is another take on the lined frame card that I put together a few weeks back, you can see that post here.
With this card I did basically the same thing except I used post it notes all along the lined frame to protect the outside edge and then just began stamping away in the middle portion. The stars were colored with markers and then I went over them with my glitter pen.. Love it!!!

Road Trip-
Hi there, I'm popping in today with a layout share, I did this a few days ago, and I just LOVE the way it turned out..
I sewed a pocket to add memorabilia to the side of the layout, it is actually a Ziploc bag that I cut to the size I wanted.
It was incredibly hard for me to add so many photos, UGH! what a pain cutting them down to fit into place just right..I have 14 photos total on this page, and it wasn't easy..I put two of the photos in the pocket.
Here is a photo of everything that I have in the pocket: maps, ticket stubs, my journalling and two photos(one I made look like a Polaroid)..So cute!!!- I will definitely be making more of those for future layouts.. :)
Lastly, is my journalling up close- I had a ton to say- We had a blast!!!

Tomorrow is going to be a BIG day around here, my little guy is turning 4...

What a Fun Day!-
Wow, we have been busy..busy around here lately..and with school winding down, the programs and field trips are in full gear. I thought since there wasn't even a single second this weekend that I could sneak away to craft, that today that I would share some fun photos of my little guy riding a horse for his first time.. He loved it!!! & did I mention that he was a TOTAL natural.. :)
He couldn't stop smiling, it was so stinking cute..
This was his last official day of preschool, and they celebrated by visiting a local horse farm down the street from us..
He had a total blast-So glad I was able to spend this amazing day with him..

TGIF!!! I have a really fun tag to share with you today..
DO you ever just feel like you need a little "scissors therapy"? Which for me, means just sitting down with my handy scissors and hand cutting paper(no die cut machines). I was a little stressed yesterday, so I thought a little quiet time was just what I needed. I took the extra time to draw out and hand cut this cute-sie little rainbow and I think that tag turned out so cute.
The clouds I used my PTI die and inked the edges, so easy.. :)

Lucky Me!!-

Line Frame Technique-
Hi there Bloggers, so sorry I missed my post for yesterday, the time just got away from me..
I was super busy and this weekend I am going to work on getting the last of my Mother's day gifts packaged up( I have to mail all my presents)..
Today's share is of a card that I made for Mother's day, and I used a technique that I have been wanting to try for a while now. You can watch a video on this Line Frame technique here at the Papertrey Ink blog.
It is super simple and I really think it adds such a nice effect.
There is no doubt that without my very favorite tool, the stamp-a-ma-jig, this card itself would not have been possible because all the stamps I used were wood mounted.
I colored this image with my SU markers and added Hero Arts bling..
Love it!!

Hi there, I hope you all had a super Easter holiday...We had such a nice day, the kids were so excited.. :)
I know last week I told you that I would be back this week posting with more Mother's day, but my hubby needed a last minute Grad tag to put on a gift, and well- tis' the season, right?
This was super easy, and since banners are about the HOTTEST trend out right now, I thought I would add one to the front.. Yay!!! Super cute, isn't it?
I have started a few other projects that I hope to finish up this week- I have a layout to complete for the Preschool from the Easter egg hunt last week.. I was able to get some really cute pictures..

Hi there Blogger friends, I'm popping in today with another quick post, today's share is the card I made to go with the Mother's day box that I posted on Monday. I used the scraps left over from the purple box and some other odds and ends. The flower was made with tissue paper that I ran through by big shot with my tattered flowers Tim Holtz die.
I embossed the purple pieces and added some stitching along the top portion of the green patterned paper...I love it and I know my mom will as well..
I hope to have time to work on some more stuff this weekend so stayed tuned my friends...I hope you all have a Wonderful Easter Holiday...

I had a very nice and extremely productive weekend.. :)
I was able to clean out closets and do some crafting...Hard to believe I know.

I say this with the biggest smile on my face because today is my 10 yr. wedding anniversary..Yay!!
My hubby surprised me this morning with the MOST beautiful diamond earrings..
I am such a LUCKY girl :)
I was able to do some crafting this past weekend, and I put together this cute little birthday for our friend, and she loved it. :)
The Happy Birthday sentiment is a rub-on and I put it onto a journalling sticker from American Crafts..
Love those things... I have a whole bunch that I use to just add to backgrounds sometimes instead of stamping.

So sorry for my absence but things have been crazy here with Spring Break...We have been having an amazing time, and we so excited that the weather is going to warm up around here for the last few days of break.
I am popping in today with a card that I made super quick for a male friend of mine. I needed a bday card to bring with us on our spring break road trip, and this card was super easy.
The last order I placed with Stampin' Up! I finally got around to ordering that Crazy Cute owl punch, and this was my first chance to use it.. :)
This card was nothing fancy, but it turned out so cute- I love the way those google eyes look.. :)
Well, I hope to do some crafting this afternoon because it is a raining mess around here today.. :(

We spent the whole weekend transforming my son's room into Batman's Gotham City... :)
It isn't completely done yet, but 99.9% there...
Still have a few odds & ends to add.
I love the way the city scape that my hubby put on the wall turned out...
and the Pottery Barn Batman decal is the BOMB!!!!!
We have spring break starting here in a few days, so I may not be back till after the kiddies are back in school....

Hello-
Happy Friday!!, I am here today with a fun and different card. This technique "Emboss Resist" is super popular, and I tried with with not only ink, but with misting sprays too. Very successful and so pretty. Believe it or not that piece that I embossed on the front of this card actually started out a very light lilac..
After a bunch of ink blending and smooch spritzing this was the end result... Love it!
If you haven't given this a try before...I highly recommend it, such an easy technique that really gives a HUGE impact.

Popping in today to post a super cute gift tag I made for my dad's bday coming up this weekend..
When it comes to making cards for grandparents there is no better idea, than just using a picture for the focal point..
I never stress out about what kind of card I am going to make for grandmas & grandpas, I almost always just use a picture of the kiddies and embellish it..
For this tag I added the pic then a few other little do dads...and that's it..
Also, don't forget that your Big Bite will punch right thru a gift card.. I do this all the time
and just add it usually behind the tag...and I simply tie it right on along with the ribbon.
Super cute!!

Blast Off & Celebrate!!!-
Super fun tag to make, and I used my very favorite robot stamp set that I bought from Micheal's a while back...I have used this set a ton... LOVE it!
I added curling ribbon to the bottom of the rocket and stickles to the stamped stars...So cute :)
I enlarged this rocket ship image on my copy machine and colored it with my SU markers on white card stock..as you can tell- I haven't made the COPIC investment yet ( sure wish they weren't so expensive)...
Well I hope you like it and sorry I wasn't here yesterday, the day just simply got away from me..

As I sit watching all of the blasted snow that has been falling, I thought I would warm things up a bit with a page I did for my son's school scrapbook about BEACH DAY!!!

I was provided with the basics from the school (8 1/2- 11 card stock & sea shell stickers)..
and so each time I do a layout for them, I pull out all of my misc. scraps...Man that bin sure comes in handy for projects like this.
And well- Viola'

I just know that they will love it & isn't it just warming you up already.. :)
I haven't had a chance to scrap a ton this week, so many other things I want to accomplish in a day...

As promised I am back with what I think is the cutest little paper bag album ever. I have a ton of pictures, but sure wish I had the time to record and edit a video to show you every little nook and cranny...Sorry :(

Well this first picture is of the disaster area that was left after I was finished..An 8 hour marathon and this is what was waiting for me to clean up..Blah :(

Happy Monday to you!
I am popping in quick with a post of a card that I put together for my sweet niece. It sort of coordinates with the birthday shirt that I made her.
I had an amazing weekend, got quite a few layouts done, can't wait to share those soon.
I also am going to start sharing pics from the baby mini album that I put together last week.. So cute, I will start posting those on Wednesday..
Yay!!! So much checked off my to do list today...CRAZY!!!
I have a busy week ahead, so hopefully I will have time to get crafty...We shall see.

Hello there-
I am snowed in here today, and wowzers- it could take me a couple of days to dig myself out..
No school for the kiddies today- so right now they are holding on by a thread..Long day to be stuck inside :(

Today's post is of a couple of things-
1st off, is a cute gift tag for yet another birthday party this weekend.
2nd, well...as many of you know my little niece will be turning 1 soon, and I have been up to my eyeballs busy making her gifts...
I thought it would be fun to make her one of those ever popular "Paper Bag" mini albums as a gift as well....
And with that-this next picture is pretty much everything that I have that is girly and baby, so I hope I can put something together.. after a long couple of hours I completed the book... Success!!! It turned out gorgeous...Can't wait to share...Next week for sure. You are not going to want to miss it...So Cute!!
Well, I am off- I have a busy night ahead, So stay warm and cozy my friends & I will be back Friday :)

Today's post is a funny one, and I hope you find it as cute as I do??
1st off, if you can see in the left hand corner, the 2 packages that are wrapped... Well- My crafty daughter made that adorable wrapping paper.. :)
Love it!
She just took a sheet of copy paper, stamped some images and then colored them in. So Cute.
The Frog card is just something fun I put together for our neighbor that loves froggies.. :)
I added some googly eyes to finish it off.
And in other news, I am so excited- I am hosting my 1st ever Crop weekend at my house, and I Can't Wait...
I have some of the most craftiest ladies coming from around my area- and I just know that we are going to have a blast....I have a bunch of setting up and organizing to do..

I have been crafting tonight, enjoying the quiet while the house is asleep.. :) Happy Mama!!

I put this card together tonight and aside from the photo itself not being so hot, the card turned out so pretty..
I am really really happy with it- Of course cutting out that bird was a royal pain in the you know what??, but well worth it..

Masculine Birthday-
Hi everyone!, I hope you are all having a nice week so far, I am a little far behind on my to do list this week, but oh well, just working when I can. :)
Today I have a card that I put together last night and it was super easy...and I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but I added glitter to the outside circle dots with my glitter pen.. Love that thing! :)

As I was pulling out supplies last night, I did realize that I was going to need to sell some stamps of mind on ebay this week. Way to much new stuff that I want to start getting my hands on.

I will post a link to my eBay listings here later if any of you are interested..

How I spent my Friday night-
Hi Everyone!...Hope your week is starting off well, I am posting here kind of late on a Monday night...We have had a crazy day to say the least, the weather here is just the pits..
Well beautiful to see snow, but not so fun running errands in. :(
My hubby spent a few days last week traveling for work, so I spent time in my studio working on my niece's tutu for her bday.. It is to go with the onesie that I posted Friday.. So cute & so little.. Needless to say I then spent Saturday helping my daughter make a tutu of her own.. :)
I hope to post those pics maybe on Wednesday.. I am gearing up here for a crop that I am hosting at my house in a few weeks, with some of my local scrap friends.. So far including me we are going to have 5 ladies...which is the perfect size bunch..It will be a lot of laughs I'm sure. So I am trying to get photos edited and printed off and also get a little organized in the process..
Of Course I need to get started on Valentines Gifts.. :)
Well, enough rambling back to the tutu..there are about 50 how to videos over at You tube on how to make a NO SEW tutu.. So easy and So fast,... Love it!!

Hello there-
Happy Friday!! I am popping in quick today with a Crafty post of another onesie I made..
This is a birthday one, obviously, for my niece's 1st bday coming up next month.. I haven't finished the whole outfit yet, but I will for sure be done with it by Monday, because I want to box everything up for the post office by then. :) Here's hoping.

I am in the process of making a tutu for her as well, so Monday I will have pics. of it all finished up..Hopefully my sister likes what I put together..
Would love to hear your feedback..
My original plan was to go with Pink & Purple, but as I was putting it together, I realized those colors just weren't working for me...

I think that this color scheme SCREAMS!!! birthday.. :)

One of the bummer's that I struggle with when making onesies for little ones is not being able to add buttons or anything-- due to chocking hazards.. :(

I have been working on so much lately, that I have been very successful checking off my long to do list.. :)
Today's share is of a cute little onesie that I made for my soon to be 1 yr. old niece..She is just a doll and I couldn't let Valentine's Day! go by without sending her a cute little tee..
This one was super easy- I just traced my hearts and cut them out of some scraps of fabric & the letters were cut with my Aquarius Quickutz font...
So cute, right? I also picked up some black leggings and a crafty friend of mine is giving me a little hair pretty to complete the outfit. I will have a super cute birthday tee to share with you all on Friday...Hope you have a Wonderful night!

Hello-
and Happy Monday to you!!! I have been crazy busy putting the finishing touches on all kinds of projects on my to do list...I am making excellent progress too!!
Today's card I put together for a couple I know who recently got engaged.. :)
The front of the card has a stamped acetate window and the back has white with a heart stamped on it..I wrote my sentiment on the inside bottom back of the card so you wouldn't see it through the window...I used a stick pin that I painted with smooch and then embossed with clear powder to give it that finished shiny look..
I think it turned out really cute..
I know the recipient LOVED it...

Happy Friday!!!-
I don't know about you, but I kept thinking that this day was never going to get here...geeesh what a L O N G week..
I think I told you that my little kiddos both have birthday parties to attend this weekend, so I had some gifts to wrap and tags to make...Nothing like waiting till the last day :)
Before I get started, if you haven't noticed this about me already..I will tell you that I LOVE things to coordinate...and nothing makes it easier to do that, than wrapping paper..
So for starters-today's 1st share is of a cute tag that took literally 5 min. to make--- NO JOKE!!
If it's hard to tell from the picture, the pirate circle is just cut from a wrapping paper scrap & then adhered to a scrap piece of card stock.. Add a couple of embellies and that's that..

This next tag was made with a few scraps & odds and ends really..
The stitching was a last minute decision that I think was just what this tag needed.. :)
And- of course whenever I can I recycle gift bags..
1st and most important tip for that is make sure to tear off that cheesy paper tag that comes with most bags...especially if it has already been signed by another recipient.. :(
And 2nd tip is, I always perk up an old bag with fresh tissue paper...my local dollar store has every color out there, so it makes it very cost effective.. and lastly I untie and thread my tag onto the ribbon that comes with the bag(sometimes if I don't like the ribbon handles that come with the bag I replace them with my own), this to me makes my new tag look like it has been there the whole time.. :)
Well, I hope after showing how easy adding your own touch to a gift package can be-you will give it a try for yourself..it really makes a huge impact..

Hi there, popping in quick with a birthday card for a very dear friend..
I know that he is just going to love it!!
This card was super simple, and the most time consuming part was cutting out the little owl and branch pieces..
I would love to hear your thoughts ??
I used my Hero Arts music notes background stamp on patterned paper, but what I didn't realize was that with this card being an A1 size- most of the words covered my stamped image..Oh well- note to self for next time..
Here's hoping you are having a fantastic week so far.. I am off to book club tonight, I can't wait to hear what the next pick is...See you Friday..!!

Christmas Morning-
Hello Bloggers, Sorry I'm so late posting, but it's been a Crazy Monday around here- to say the least...UGh- well the kids are finally in bed and the laundry is just about done- so here I am just taking pics of the layout I finished up this afternoon..
I love it!!! I used a whole bunch more of those October Afternoon embellishments and I just love the vintage touch they add to a page...
Also- I am happy to report that I used my Martha Stewart- Punch around the Page, for the 1st time with this layout, and I L O V E it!!! So easy, I thought that it was going to be more difficult..with me being a perfectionist.. :(
The one I used here was the "Crown" and you can actually watch a You Tube video here, on a bunch of how to-s...Very Cool!
So with that being said, this is the last of my Christmas projects that I needed to finish up from last year...Toodle Loo Xmas Embellies...Till next year!!
Well, I am off- I think I just heard the dryer beep with my LAST load..

Hi there Bloggers- well I am back today with a share I put together in all of about 20 min. and in case you were wondering???
I am still stuck on using my A1 size envelopes- Love this tiny version.. :)
Besides being super cute, this card was made with only scraps that I threw together-starting with the stripe on the top, which btw is leftover Christmas paper from years ago...
Paired it up with whatever I could find with the same color scheme and Viola'
I also thought I would try one of those "Oh so Popular" Dawn McVey bows that are popping up everywhere, literally.. :)
I think her version is fun and something different..
Well, thanks for stopping by today, we have been getting dumped on with snow for two days, so I foresee a bunch of sledding and outside play taking place this weekend.. :)

Hello-
Time for another share, today I am sharing the last of the cards I made at my retreat back in October last year.
Thinking of You, was made using my Tim Holtz tattered flowers die and some old book text paper that I distressed with some of Tim's ink.
With Sympathy, I used a cuttlebug folder and some ribbon-both cards were super easy and very quick to make. I'm hoping that you all are having a nice week so far, I am feeling a little sluggish today, I hope it's just from the craziness of getting back into the swing of things.. Have a great night!

Happy Monday-
And with that said, "Happy Birthday to Me" today, I am having a really great day so far and we actually celebrated my special day yesterday because my hubby was home...Had a super time of course. Today's share is of a page I did last week, from some holiday happenings around here in 2010. I love all the anticipation-it is so fun watching my kiddies light up with happiness just at the thought of Santa.
I had yet another chance to use my Papertrey Ink tree die, and we all know how much I am loving my Moxie font by Quickutz these days..
I am printing pictures from Christmas morning this afternoon..

Happy New Year's Eve-
Can't wait to start our countdown here in Michigan...
the kiddies can't wait to get started with all the festivities & neither can I :)
I popped in to post a couple cards that I made a few months back, and I hope they inspire you, I know that were both super easy to create...
For you from me! is a card that I kind of cased from an old SU catalog, I changed mine up quite a bit, but the general idea was theirs.
The thank you card was just as easy and what I love about both of these little beauties, is that they were made with only a few scraps...I even used notebook paper on the red card..I just love the end result..
Well, I am off- I have got to get showered...UGH!
I finished up a Christmas layout this morning that I can't wait to share with you next week...It turned out super cute!

Happy Wednesday-
I promised I would be back with some sticker fun, and I hope you enjoy it.
I am signed up at the preschool to be one of the scrapbooking parents, which just means that at different events throughout the year, a handful of gals and I go to the school-take a couple of pics-and then the school supplies us with a single sheet of cardstock and coordinating stickers.
At the end of the year the school photocopies all of the 8 1/2 x 11 layouts and puts together little yearbooks for all the kids...Really cute!
So here is where the fun comes in, as I mentioned the school sends home a piece of cardstock and a sheet of stickers....
Well, me being who I am could not possibly just use those two things, so I jazz my pages up a bit with ONLY scraps and ink.. The trick is to do it with hardly NO dimension(for purposes of photocopies) & using minimal supplies.
With that in mind the 1st layout I stamped some leaves on the base orange and toned the orange down a bit with Tim Holtz distress ink on the sides and base. I used a few scrap pieces of paper to back up the stickers on and then cut them out and distressed the edges.
On the farm page I did the same thing except I used dimensionals on a few of the stickers just for a wee bit of depth.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas...I had a super holiday and received everything I wanted from Santa.. Yay!
Today's post is from my hubby's bday a few weeks ago, and I just love the way this layout turned out..
I am having so much fun with all of my new Tim Holtz toys.. :)
Ranger's product line is so addicting..
I am loving the new creative techniques that I am learning.

Wowzers-
This week is flying by:
We are ready & waiting for Santa around here..the big day could not come soon enough :)
Today's share is of a fun recycle- This was a really cute box that my daughter received a few Christmas's back and I decided to pull it out and jazz it up a bit. :)
I put a gift card inside and then added my Papertrey Ink tree die to the front..Added a few embellies to the tree and that's it- Completely transformed..
Well, here's wishing you all a safe and happy holiday- I'll be back next week :)
